Saga of braveness


This photo is from the Chittorgarh fort itself. It is the statue of Queen Padmini. And this poem is based on the historical fiction made by Sanjay Leela bhansali ‘ Padmaavat’. I hope you all enjoy reading it.

It is a rigmarole of love and lust yet a historical fiction,
From valor and sacrifice to the tale of Padmaavat fantasy changed,
It unfolds the mystery behind the pale comparison of glorious love and lust.

It begins with the princess of Sinhala Padmini,
Her audacity and pristine beauty became her strength,
Meanwhile, when the king of Chittorgarh travels to Sinhala to get rare pearl for his first wife,

He meets the royal princess of Sinhala and her braveness captures his heart.
The steadfast and unflappable king Ratan Singh did not fail to capture her heart by defeating her in the game of chess,

It became the most pacifying moment for the king of Sinhala to give the hand of his beautiful daughter to the king of Chittorgarh,
But, the brave princess became the queen of by marrying the king of Chittorgarh,

And the saga of love and rajput glory begins when they both travels to Mewar,
Somehow, Chetan the servant over there saw them together and got banished from the kingdom,
So, he has to left the kingdom and went to the sultan of Delhi,

Whilst, she became the queen of Chittorgarh and also occupies place in her husbands heart ,
Her radiant beauty captured the heart of everyone around and she became the queen of everyone’s heart,

As the time passed on, the Brahmin chetan who was thrown out of the kingdom became the enemy of the queen padmini and told sultan about her pristine beauty,
And the barbaric sultan of Islam invites the rajput to Delhi and after the rejection he seize the Chittorgarh,

And demands the king to see the queen Padmini but after knowing his intentions, he was made stifle to see her.
On his insist, he was allowed to see her momentarily,

He heard the saga of pristine beauty of queen Padmini and after seeing her real beauty, it gave rise to incite lust in him.
Somehow, the sultan blindfolds everyone and imprison the Maharwal Ratan Singh,
And he kept his demand on the trail of his fingers and demanded Padmini,

On the advice of chief queen, she decided to travel to Delhi to meet sultan,
But the queen is known for her beauty and brain so she made a strategy to free the fort of Chittorgarh by bringing back the king of Chittorgarh,

And the sultan was assassinated by his own nephew.
On, the return of the king to the kingdom the queen braveness was celebrated but the sultan lays another seize of Chittorgarh,
Now, he arrived with the even bigger force and a ton of people,

Dishonorably, he gets succeed in killing the king of Chittorgarh,
He got succeed in defeating the rajputs and got access to Chittorgarh but failed to capture the rajput women,
As there was no way left to save the Chittorgarh fort from the seize of sultan,

To such revelation of the fact that the queen cannot escape so along with the women of Chittorgarh she committed the act of self immolation,
And made it an unachievable dream for the sultan to turn the fort made of bricks and stones into Islam.
